Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information IoTize.ORG collects through iotize.org, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to answer you, quote, deliver and support our products, and we never sell your information.

1. Who we are

IoTize.ORG designs and builds industrial IoT devices and software in Pakistan, and has done so since 2015. We are based in Karachi, Pakistan, and serve clients in Pakistan and overseas.

For anything about this policy or your information, email info@iotize.org or use our contact form. Our team reads these messages and replies from the same address.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website iotize.org, including its contact and quote forms, store pages, blog and newsletter sign-ups.

It does not cover the IoTize.ORG IoT Platform, customer dashboards or data that our devices send from a client’s site. That data is handled under the agreement we sign with each client (see section 5).

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and quote requests: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, city or site location, and what you tell us about your machines or project. If you send photos or files, we keep those too.
  • Calls, email and WhatsApp: the messages you send us and the details we need to follow up. We do not record phone calls.
  • Orders: for items bought through our store, your name, company, billing and delivery address, phone number and what you ordered. You cannot create an account on the website at the moment. We never receive or store full card numbers.
  • Newsletter and updates: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
  • Reviews and comments: your name, your review or comment and, if you choose, a photo.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that sent you and the time of your visit. This comes from our web server logs and analytics tools.
  • Cookies: small files that keep the site working and help us measure visits. See section 6.

Where a law such as the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: steps you ask for before a contract (quotes), performing a contract (orders, support), our legitimate interests (site security, site analytics, product improvement, replying to business enquiries), your consent (newsletters) and legal obligations (tax records).

5. Device and platform data

Our devices measure machine and site data such as vibration, temperature, current, energy use, counts or occupancy, and send it to the dashboard the client chooses: cloud, private cloud or on-premises. We use this data to run the service, troubleshoot and improve our products.

This data belongs to our client, and our client decides what is collected and who can see it. If you are an employee or visitor at a client site, please contact that client first. We will help them with any request.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use three kinds of cookies:

  • Essential: keep the site, cart and forms working. These are always on.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics tells us which pages people visit and how they found us, in summary form. You can turn them off as described below.
  • Embedded content: YouTube videos and social media links may set their own cookies when you play or click them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work. To stop Google Analytics on all websites, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports how our pages appear in Google search. It does not place cookies on your device.

In our marketing emails, Brevo records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can see what readers find useful.

7. Who we share information with

  • only staff who need it can reach admin areas, form entries and client records;
  • admin accounts use strong passwords and limited permissions;
  • we keep regular backups so information is not lost.

No website or email system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information and puts you at risk, we will tell you and, where required, the relevant authority, without undue delay.

If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
