The Parking Guidance Gateway is what turns two signs and a handful of sensors into an actual parking guidance system. On its own, each counter or bay sensor only knows its own small piece of the picture. The gateway is the edge controller that collects all of those pieces, computes the numbers that matter, and tells every sign what to display, all in real time.
It aggregates inputs from entry/exit vehicle counters and in-bay occupancy sensors across multiple lots, zones, and levels. From those inputs it runs the “spaces free” logic locally at the edge: capacity minus live occupancy, per zone, updated the instant a vehicle enters or leaves. Because the calculation happens on the device, guidance stays fast and accurate even if the internet connection drops, and the gateway buffers data and auto-syncs to the cloud once connectivity returns.
The gateway then pushes live updates to every guidance sign over MQTT and Modbus TCP, so the Smart Parking Flip-Dot Guidance Signage and IoT Indoor LED Signage Display always show current numbers and directional arrows. The same data is exposed over HTTP / JSON APIs for your mobile app, dashboard, or third-party parking platform, and can feed SCADA and cloud systems.
Designed as an industrial node, the gateway ships in a rugged DIN-rail, IP-rated enclosure, runs on 9-36V DC, and supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and optional 4G. It is the single piece that makes the whole loop a “system” rather than a set of disconnected parts, and it scales from one entrance to an entire multi-level structure.
