The Enterprise Smart Machine Health Monitor is IoTize’s flagship predictive maintenance device, built to track every critical failure signal on a critical machine from one rugged node. Instead of wiring separate units for vibration, temperature, and current, this single DIN-rail enclosure watches all three across two points on the same machine, so a developing fault on either bearing is never missed.
Designed for the rotating equipment you cannot afford to lose, including motors, pumps, compressors, fans, and gearboxes, it continuously tracks vibration signatures with an industrial 3-axis accelerometer to catch imbalance, misalignment, looseness, and bearing wear. It monitors temperature with contact RTD probes to flag overheating before failure, and clamps onto the power line with a non-invasive split-core current sensor to detect electrical overload, all without disconnecting the equipment. Two vibration and two temperature inputs let you watch two points at once, for example the drive-end and non-drive-end bearings. An optional speed input adds RPM, enabling order tracking analysis that sharpens fault detection on variable speed and VFD driven machines.
Data streams via HTTP, MQTT, and Modbus TCP, integrating directly with SCADA systems, MES platforms, and cloud dashboards over Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Because IoTize is built on data freedom, you are never locked to our servers. Run it on-prem, in your private cloud, or on IoTize SaaS, and connect it to your own platform.
Predict failures before they happen, and keep every critical machine running.
Key Features
- Three Sensing Types, Dual-Point: Vibration, temperature, and current across 2 vibration inputs, 2 temperature inputs, and 1 current clamp, two points on one machine from a single node.
- Optional Speed Input: Adds RPM for order tracking accuracy on variable speed machines.
- Early Failure Detection: Identifies imbalance, misalignment, bearing wear, overheating, and electrical overload before breakdown.
- Vibration Spectrum Analysis: Full FFT spectrum plus RMS and peak values for deep diagnostics.
- Non-Invasive Mounting: Magnetic vibration and temperature sensors, with a split-core current clamp that installs without disconnecting the wire.
- Real-Time Threshold Alerts: Configurable high and low limits across all inputs.
- Open, Enterprise Connectivity: HTTP, MQTT, and Modbus TCP over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, ready for SCADA and MES.
- Deploy Your Way: On-prem, private cloud, or IoTize SaaS. Your data, your platform.
- Rugged Build: DIN-rail mount and IP-rated industrial enclosure for the electrically harsh environment near motors and drives.

Applications in Detail
- Motors and Pumps: Detect bearing wear, misalignment, and overheating across both bearings before unplanned downtime.
- Compressors and Fans: Identify resonance, looseness, and overload conditions early.
- Variable Speed and VFD Machines: Use the optional speed input for order tracking accuracy as RPM changes.
- Marine and Heavy Industry: Track shaft misalignment, bearing degradation, and electrical load in rugged environments.
- Smart Factories: Connect to SCADA, MES, and cloud dashboards for plant-wide predictive maintenance.
For smaller machines or tighter budgets, the affordable Smart Machine Health Monitor covers the same three signals at a single point over Wi-Fi.
